About us

Palas Athena is a health facility offering services in the Southern City of Prague, a 5-minute walk from Háje Metro Station. All care is paid by health insurance companies. We have a contractual relationship with all health insurance companies, except for the insurance company 213 - The Fraternal Brethren. More than 35,000 outpatient treatments and over 1,900 surgical procedures are performed annually in total anesthesia. We are one of the leading centers dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of reflux esophageal disease. We perform the largest number of laparoscopic fundoplications in the Czech Republic.

We have excellent results in laparoscopic operations of abdominal and inguinal hernias, where we use state-of-the-art methods and regularly check the results of our work. The basic operations of our workplace include trouble-free operation of the gall bladder. We specialize in the treatment of varicose veins, varicose veins. Total care is supplemented by ultrasound examination. We belong to one of the first workplaces in the Czech Republic where endovenous laser therapy was implemented in the area of ​​venous surgery.
